Exhibitor & Sponsor Terms

VERSION 1.0 · 4 SEPTEMBER 2026

These terms apply to all exhibitors and sponsors of the Trustworthy Edge AI Conference 2027 (TEA 2027), including the Exhibitor, Sponsor and Gold Sponsor packages described on the sponsorship page. In these terms, “Exhibitor” refers to exhibitors and sponsors alike.

  1. The event is organized by Silicon Austria Labs GmbH, Sandgasse 34, 8010 Graz, Austria (“SAL”), together with its partners TU Wien and AI Factory Austria. SAL is the sole contracting party for exhibition and sponsorship agreements.
  2. To apply for participation at the exhibition of the event, the order form available on the event website shall be sent to SAL. The form shall be completed and duly signed. By submitting the order form, the Exhibitor accepts these Exhibitor & Sponsor Terms and confirms acknowledgement of the Data Protection Notice. Upon submission of the registration, the Exhibitor will receive a written confirmation and the invoice by e-mail.
  3. The indicated fees are net prices in euros. The currently applicable VAT will be added. The Exhibitor shall pay the total amount of the exhibition fee within 14 days after the date of invoice. All exhibition and sponsorship fees paid are non-refundable, except as set out in clause 9.
  4. Packages are allocated in the order in which registrations are received. SAL reserves the right to decline an application without stating reasons, in particular where the Exhibitor’s activities are not compatible with the scientific character of the event; in that case any fee already paid will be refunded in full.
  5. The Exhibitor shall further comply with all terms and conditions (e.g. booth specifications, times, delivery, etc.) described in the Exhibitor Information, as well as with the requirements of the event location provider (i.a. safety, fire prevention, house rules), and will coordinate its booth and exhibits with SAL. Exhibitors shall use the facilities in a careful, responsible and lawful manner and in accordance with all venue rules and regulations.
  6. The Exhibitor is responsible for the content, accuracy and legality of all logos, texts, images and other materials it provides for publication on the event website, in the conference programme or on site, and grants SAL the non-exclusive right to use these materials for the promotion and documentation of the event. The Exhibitor warrants that it holds all necessary rights to these materials.
  7. Neither SAL nor any of its contractors, employees or other representatives shall be held liable for, and are hereby released from, any damage, loss, harm or injury to the person or property of the Exhibitor or any of its visitors, officers, employees or other representatives resulting from theft, fire, water, unavailability of the exhibition facility, accident or any other cause.
  8. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Exhibitor shall indemnify, defend and protect SAL and hold SAL harmless from any and all claims, demands, suits, liability damages, losses, costs, attorney fees and expenses of any kind that might result or arise from any action or failure to act on the part of the Exhibitor, its officers, employees or other representatives.
  9. The Exhibitor shall ensure to maintain proper insurance coverage for its property and liability.
  10. SAL reserves the right to change the date of the event, to replace it by an online event (see below) or to cancel it altogether due to organizational or technical reasons such as force majeure, or other circumstances that are not the responsibility of SAL (e.g. sanctions, strikes, lockouts, fire or natural catastrophes, diseases, epidemics or pandemics). If, due to one of these reasons, the event is cancelled, SAL will refund the exhibition fee. Beyond that, there is no entitlement to reimbursement of any further expenditures or damages. For online events the following applies: in specific circumstances (see above), the Exhibitor acknowledges and accepts that the event may solely take place online. In this event, SAL will partially refund the exhibition fee due to saved expenditures. The Exhibitor is responsible for verifying the technical requirements prior to participation.
  11. Further verbal agreements, differing or supplementary agreements to these Exhibitor & Sponsor Terms are only binding if priorly confirmed in writing by SAL.
  12. All terms of these Exhibitor & Sponsor Terms shall only apply insofar as they are not in conflict with mandatory applicable law.
  13. If any provision of these Exhibitor & Sponsor Terms should be invalid or unenforceable, or become invalid or unenforceable after conclusion, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The partly or entirely invalid or unenforceable provision shall automatically be deemed replaced by such legal, valid and enforceable substitute provision that provides for terms as close to the original intention of the provision as possible. The same applies to any unintended gaps in these Exhibitor & Sponsor Terms.
  14. All disputes arising from or in connection with the conference are subject to Austrian law with the exclusion of its conflict of law rules. The place of jurisdiction for all legal disputes arising from this event shall be the locally competent court for the seat of SAL.
